I woke up this morning and realized it was mid way through July already and I had not given a post in some time. Things are going great here at the farm. Our corn is tasseled up, our giant pumpkin is 2 foot around and we have picked our first tomatoes. Look out for the article this weekend in the Minneapolis Star Tribune featuring Tiny Planet. Rick Nelson stopped by and talked to us about some of our heirloom oddities that we grow here.  The C.S.A. is going strong and for anyone wanting to sing up we are taking a few more shares. The price is prorated for the weeks we have already delivered. We will also be offering a fall share box. If you are interested in taking part just shoot us an email or give a call. Here’s a few pictures of what we’ve been doing.

Things are moving right along here at Tiny Planet with just under two acres already planted! Onions, scallions, potatoes and artichokes have all joined in with our other crops already in the field. Also to all of you in the St. Croix Falls area, our farmers market in the new library parking lot starts Saturday at 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. We will be there selling many bedding plants, flower baskets and vegetable starts.  If you are in the area definitely stop by and support the market! Here are few pictures to give you a visual of what is happening.

Update!

We are pleased to let you know that many of our flower baskets and bedding plants will be available at the River Market Community Co-op located in Stillwater, Minnesota sometime in the middle of May. We will also be setting up shop in front of the store with other Certified Naturally Grown plants and flowers and to answer questions on May 30 at 11:00 am. We hope to see you there! Things in the greenhouse are booming and we are continuously rearranging to make more room for plants here is a little of what it looks like.
